Don Lutes, DDS, Board chair;  Vice-Chair; Candace Martin, former founding Board Chair and present Treasurer;  Secretary Barbara Twaddell;  Katheryn Burns, Marty Byers, Cecelia Hagey, Karla Sherman, Gerald Townsend, Nicole Weakley and Michelle Woodruff.    Carol Gresham, founding Board member has been the Executive Director of SAFE-T for the past 10 years. She moved from New York to Texas in 1974. In 1997 Ms. Gresham received the Athena Award for her ability to help women discover new opportunities. She helped recognize the serious problem of domestic violence, while offering a solution. The Sunshine Peace Award was awarded to Ms. Gresham August 5, 2006 for her work done to further awareness of domestic violence. This award was presented in Willmington, North Carolina.
