Your story is powerful and can change the lives of the readers who are going through something similar. SAFE-T wants to post it in the shelter, offices, or online to encourage other survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, or stalking. Your story is YOUR STORY and not ours. So there is a process to go through for SAFE-T to share part or all of what led you to become the amazing survivor you are today.

SAFE-T’s Client Advisory Board (CAB) is dedicated to playing an active part in this process because they want to make sure that you are safe if you choose to share what you survived. The CAB is a committee made up of SAFE-T clients who volunteer to review and protect other clients’ stories before they are made public. They recognize the power of both writing your own and reading other’s stories. But the CAB committee members want to do this in a safe and protective way as possible.
